canton coin is the native utility token of the canton network — a privacy-forward blockchain originally built for financial institutions, now opening up to consumer apps. you hold CC in a canton-compatible wallet. if you don't have any yet, we'll point you to the easiest on-ramps closer to launch.
every round uses a fresh random value from drand, a public distributed randomness beacon. the contract verifies drand's cryptographic signature on-chain, then picks winners based on each wallet's share of the pot. bigger share = bigger odds, but the last degen in can still take 1st.
between 1 and 10, based on pot size. small pots (under 1,000 CC) get 1 winner. medium pots get 3-5. huge pots over 100k CC get the full 10 winners. 1st place always takes 50% of the prize pool, each subsequent winner gets half the previous.
rektpot is a defi protocol that anyone can use at their own risk. it's not a licensed gambling operator and isn't available in jurisdictions where similar activity is restricted — including the US, UK, singapore, france, south korea, and mainland china. if you're unsure about your local laws, don't participate. not financial or legal advice.
