the rules of the pot.

1. who we are

rektpot is a raffle built on robinhood chain, a public blockchain. people put $REKT into a pot, the pot picks the winners, and everyone else gets rekt.

rektpot is an independent project. it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by robinhood. "we", "us" and "rektpot" in these terms mean the team behind rektpot.

by using this site or playing a pot, you agree to these terms.

2. pre-launch

rektpot is pre-launch. the $REKT token has not launched and no pots are running. the clock and the demo on this site are for show. nothing on this site is an offer to sell anything or a request to buy anything.

3. who can play

you can play if all of these are true:

  • you are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher.
  • you are outside the united states and any other place where raffles, lotteries or games of chance are restricted.
  • you are not on a sanctions list, and you are not in a sanctioned country or region.

you are responsible for following the laws where you live. we may block access from restricted places and refuse service to anyone who breaks these terms.

4. how pots work

  • a new pot opens every 3 hours, on a fixed utc schedule.
  • you enter with $REKT, and prizes are paid in $REKT.
  • your chance of 1st matches your share of the pot.
  • each pot has 1 to 10 winners, depending on its size.
  • 3% of every pot comes off the top. 2.5% is the house slice, which the house keeps as a continuous $REKT buyback. 0.5% covers running costs.
  • the other 97% goes to the winners. 1st gets half of it plus the leftover from halving, 2nd gets a quarter, 3rd an eighth, and so on.
  • entering also costs a small network fee.
  • the smart contract handles entries, draws and payouts. if this page and the contract ever disagree, the contract is right.

5. randomness

before a pot closes, it locks in a future round from drand, a public randomness beacon. that round's number picks the winners, weighted by how much each person put in. nobody, including the team, can predict it in advance. results recorded on-chain are final.

6. risks

playing has real risks. only put in what you can afford to lose.

  • you can lose everything you put into a pot. most entries win nothing.
  • smart contracts can have bugs, and a bug can mean lost funds.
  • networks get congested, wallets get compromised and transactions can fail.
  • the value of $REKT can change a lot, and it can go to zero.
  • blockchain transactions are final. once an entry is on-chain, we cannot cancel, reverse or refund it.

7. your wallet

you hold your own keys and you are responsible for keeping them safe. we will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase. the official rektpot bot on telegram is @rektpot_bot. treat any other account that dms you claiming to be rektpot as a scam.

8. advice and guarantees

nothing from rektpot is financial, legal or tax advice. we make no promises about winnings, uptime or the value of anything. the site and the pots are provided "as is" and "as available". to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using rektpot.

9. taxes

any taxes on what you win or lose are your responsibility. check the rules where you live.

10. changes

we may update these terms, and we may change, pause or end the service. the date at the top shows the current version. using rektpot after a change means you accept it.
